We are lucky to live, recreate, and create on Aak’w Kw’aan ancestral lands, bordering Taku Kw'aan territory in Juneau, Alaska. StinkRat Stitches was born in the darkest days of 2023 -a snowless & rainy late fall - when some of my closest friends wanted some custom fleece shorts, modeled after the O.G. pair my wonderful mother made me back in 2020. Three matching shorts later and boom - stinkrat hit the world. Or at least hit my world - as a ski patroller, my winter world is filled with folks who just need fleece to warm their faces, feet, and behinds. Lucky lucky me, this winter world is also filled with excited and supportive people who were so happy to stoke my flame and encourage me to keep creating!
